At the Michigan Institute of Technology, we strive to provide the best possible automobile service training at a reasonable cost. MIIT features small class sizes to better create a more effective learning environment with low student to instructor ratios. We instill student confidence, creativity, teamwork dynamics and problem solving skills to better prepare our graduates for the personal characteristics required in the automotive repair industry. A priority in our program is a strong focus on "hands on" training. We integrate classroom assignments with extensive shop repair activities to enhance student training. Successful graduates will be qualified for an entry level employment position in a dealership, independent repair facility or specialty shop. It may be the goal of a student to eventually own his/her own business. MIIT provides career employment placement assistance both during training and after graduation.
The instructors at MIIT are all ASE Master certified with many years of automotive repair experiences. They attend periodic update training sessions to remain current in this ever changing technology.
